Maybe stuff like Dark Souls multiplayer will stop working as well?

I must be the only person on earth who has never had a problem with gfwl.

I also have never had a problem with it, I think Bioshock 2, Kane and Lynch, and Fallout 3 were the only ones that I have from the list. But I generally like launchers and other things. I miss the days of offline games being offline.

According to Grief.exe, Bioshock 2 now has a new beta build called "approved". Considering that tomorrow is the last day before GFWL closes its shutters for good .... itshappening.gif?

I actually really liked it to start with, was the only way i could get achievements on my Live account as i rarely played the actual Xbox.

If it had of been more like XBox Live and offered things like multi-platform MP then it might of been more of a success, but it felt dead even when you were using it for new games and it did have a problem of corrupting save games which is just not on, especially when it didn't feature cloud saving.

I personally only ever had that happen with Gears of War and that was about 5 years ago, but i did speak to others who did.

VAC is easily circumvented unfortunately, look at MW3.

Too bad. Still Steamworks' better than sticking with GFWL that's for certain. Don't know if I'd want to get all the achievements again after the switch though. Too much time and stress for all of that.

Not sad to see GFWL disappear for good. I have several games that used the service and I couldn't tell you anything about it beyond that stupid login pop up that appeared at the top of the game window. Did it have a shop? Did it have a separate client like Steam? I dunno.

All I know is that any game that used it was made worse for it's presence and thank god none of the games I owned that used it had multiplayer so patching it out was no problem.
