What is wrong with the 5900x, it runs games great. Put the money you are going to spend on a GPU. You we get the biggest boost there for the $$$.

Quality is good, but the wattage is not to spec for your GPU. I do not want you to have issue down the line.
Not sure this has much to do with you issue, but a 650w PSU is not enough with you system... if the info is correct. 850+ is recommended.

I think those features may become availible to other gens (certainly 6xxx) after a while. AMD is probably trying to push 7xxx sales first.
I am enjoying the series.
Undervolting seems to thing to do with AMD gpus. Works well for 6xxx and 7xxx gens. I am impressed with how my 6950 performs undervolting.
