Seems pretty good, only disappointing thing is the VRAM. Hopefully some non reference cards might come with 8GB.
It's the Shield tablet kind of disappointing though, I would have preferred some news regarding the desktop maxwells.
It won't cost more than $1200-$1300.
Fifa is using Ignite not Frostbyte as are most EA sports titles. True though that Frostbyte 3 is an amazing engine and having mantle built in is...
Supporting Mantle doesn't mean that they won't support GameWorks excluding of course the Dice/Frostbyte 3 titles and AMD partnerships. No...
It could be the GTX 880 test pcb. The actual card should release with 8GB. It might also feature some new cooling solution either hybrid or air.
4GB of VRAM is far too limiting especially for an SLI setup with higher resolutions. I hope they use at least 6GB.
I hope they come with more VRAM though. Will be hard to sell the 780 ti if the 880 will be cheaper and more powerful.
Don't judge by what you have seen so far, only by what's coming.
New gen titles are just coming out. A lot of titles will be using more than 4GB pretty soon.
I hope that 880 releases this year with at least 6GB of memory as vram requirements will start rising pretty fast.
