Seems like FH4 and 430.xx drivers don't like each other (on my computer at least, win 10 1809)
Tested it with 430.00 at the time and now with...
Still on 1809 (17763.404) and went from 95fps (425.11) to 90 in Forza Horizon 4.
3DMark score is also down.
Haven't tested further and went back...
You're right, just tried YCbCr444 (the way my plasma is set) and blacks are indeed crushed.
Had no problems before because I was using full RGB on...
No issue here, seeing all the squares with 417.01.
Weird frameskipping on my end in Monster Hunter World with those drivers and a GTX 1080
Used DDU+fresh install
Too bad about the membership requirement
Quite liked 388.84 so would love to try these out
Went back to 388.84, they're just a lot smoother on my system
Frametimes can be all over the place at times with 391.01 (+other issues mentioned...
Can confirm the micro freeze when starting a vid with MPC-HC using EVR CP.
Works fine using madvr/haali for example.
CPU score went down quite a bit.
And that's with a 7700k...
You don't have to turn off RTSS or disable anything else other than the power monitoring (leave it unchecked)
(power = puissance)
That's what I did and looks like it worked.
edit: I disabled it totally though, not just in OSD
Just reinstalled 388.13 and turned off "Power" monitoring in Afterburner and played Fifa for a few minutes and, well, no more stuttering.
I get stuttering in Fifa with both 388.10 and 388.13
Stutter free with 388.00
No G-sync monitor, ver 1709, game bar off.
To be fair I only tried Fifa 18 for now but it was really obvious coming from 388.00 which were stutter...
Stuttering issues for me too using 388.10/13
Noticed it while playing Fifa 18 (recurrent 1 frame drops)
Just went back to 388.00 and no problems...
Didn't try this driver yet but with the previous 12.3rc I couldn't set powertune at 20%.
Everytime time I hit apply it would just reset to 0%...
I don't remember the last time I installed a WHQL driver
And how did you eventually uninstall them?
I want to uninstall these and seeing that some had trouble doing it I wanna know beforehand if I'd be using the right method:
I'm definitely not getting the same performance as them...
With a 6950/6970 they never get under 60fps at 1920/4xaa and that's not my case at all...
