My Asus P8P67 was shipped to me and had about a dozen bent socket pins, returned it to Ebuyer and they sent me a replacement, no hassles at all.
I wouldn't myself, don't think they get hot enough to warrant it.
If you can buy bigger do it, when you upgrade next time it's one less thing to worry about.
