Yeah i was just thinking that too.
Hardware wise its sounds decent, but like always the drivers are diabolical. Drivers make or break a product. So yeah Nvidia or AMD is much better...
The 4080 12Gb was too gimped to be in the 4080 stack, reduce memory bandwidth, reduced cores, reduce RT cores, reduce tensor cores, reduce cache,...
Think I will be keeping my 2080 a bit longer with these prices they are crazy, a 4080 will be a good $1300+ with VAT/Tax. 4 years ago a 2080 was...
I don't see it being much of a problem for 99% of people it might be a pain while initially overclocking but once you get there it stays there and...
If i recall TSMC needs at least 18 months notice of what can be secured for production by a given customer and Apple is always the first to secure...
When you see Intel sourcing to TSMC while mocking them you know chit isn't going well for Intel.
You still have the same issue with a chiller as you do with LN2 and that's condensation while it is possible to set it so it's above ambient temps...
It's possible it might hit 350w... when doing AVX512, the 10900K can get to about 336w but only when doing AVX512 workloads and we don't know if...
Liquid chiller so not really everyday usage might as well use LN2 both are just as problematic.
You do realize that's impossible even with 1.4v and all core overclock of 4.9Ghz you are looking at about 270w so where's the other 70w gone to?...
Looking at the specs they seem to be mostly PCIe 5 with the for two 16x slots and they say PCIe 5 for 2x NVME (typical), now one of these PCIe 5...
Urm they have USB 4.0 so it is fully compatible with thunderbolt 4
Direct to CPU yes, but other PCIe 5.0 lanes can come from the chipset i.e X670 etc.
Wasted opportunity for Intel to have PCIe 5.0 and not having SSD's with PCIe 5.0.
All Zen CPU's already have 24 lanes... the problem is it's split in 16x to the GPU/s 4x to Nvme to the CPU and 4x is to the chipset. As the last...
Well done MSI, you are just a year and a half behind the likes of ASUS.Q-latch.
It is a scummy move by Intel but who knows with AMD Ryzen 7000 has AVX 512 coming out late this year Intel might bring it back without people...
Yeah I noticed that too as I have had mine since early May and it was marked as beta, now it's not but is the same revision.
I guess we will see, AMD speaks IPC intel sometimes when talking IPC also includes clock speed increases so i wouldn't right off AMD yet.
