Is the skyrim texture flickering issue been fixed with the 12.11 Beta 6 Drivers?

Why 5770 if you can have the significantly more powerful 6850 for a few buck more? And you have a 256 bit card.
With a Quad Core I get 22 - 40 FPS with DX11 and Tesselation + Advanced DOF. Okay i play not at Very High but on High, but it still looks awesome...
The 6870 is only 10 - 15% faster than 6850 and costs 80$ more. Its still a better upgrade but going from 5770 to 6850 is still a good jump....
