You can disable the new NIS/sharpening with latest drivers (511.79 confirmed) with a registry key:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00...
Set sharpen to 0% in global options in nvcp.
They need to give us two checkboxes
One for NIS and the other for sharpen.
was the NIS performance drop on native resolution bug fixed or acknowledged by nvidia ?
but what would scaling do if the game is running on native resolution ?
only sharpen got applied
in nvcp you can use per game profile setting
Don't forget to set global sharpness to 0%. Because it will screw over all games (everything).
even when running on native resolution...
i think windows 11 supports this feature but not sure.
MPO doesn't work on all cards. Only Above Pascal series.
MPO is only enabled for >pascal if iam not mistaken ?
nice load of crap
Here's a comparison of threaded optimization on a old game (single threaded) c&c generals zerohour (dx8 running with dx9 wrapper)
Wasn't Threaded Optimization for openGL only ?
Geforce experience reshade filters are no longer working.
Edit1: Shader was updated and fixed for version 460.79
I was wrong. I just rendered again and the results are pretty much the same
47 to 46 seconds.
i cant tell since i didn't measure it. But it was noticeably slower
bcdedit /set useplatformtick yes actually casued my rendering in 3dsmax to be slower
you feel difference with the mouse because it became worse, not better.
I would use CRU (custom resolution utility) for custom resolution/refresh rates
