I have the choice of a 4790 or a 4770k,only £10 in the price,which one do you guys recommend?.
this way i get back onto intel and get a nice boost and dont have to spend extra cash on ddr4 when my ram is fine.
i now can get hold of a i7 4770k for an extra £10,now i have to decide on either the 4790 or the 4770k.
I can get the i7 4790 for £220 and a gigabyte motherboard for £70,i just really want to get back to intel and this at the moment is my cheapest...

I have a amd fx 8350 and have been offered a cheap core i7 4770s,is it worth the upgrade?

Can i ask why you would want to run a dx12 card on a dx9 operating system?,and if your cpu is a duo core it would bottle neck the crap out of it...
