Actually the only reference I have is csgo ullectical benchmark: 1080p everything low. Win10 2004 + 20.5.1: i7 2600k 4.8GHz + R9 280x = 334 FPS...

With that CPU you're not going to play a lot of games.
No vega 64, no gtx 1070, no gtx 1070ti. Vega 56 only 3 fps slower than gtx1080. I can't get what you are saying.
