Well good luck, if you find a resolution report back. I had the same problem but it was due to SLI which is obviously not your issue.
Check this link see if there is anything else in there that will help. Depending on what OS you are running you may want to try unparking cores....
Try disabling Origin In Game. Also if you are running afterburner may want to turn that off as well. There is a setting in there that causes...
