I suggest to run that 500x8 Mike
Try 8x500. Mike
In most shops with electronic parts you will get them. You need good SMD soldering skills and proper equipment for this. Mike
Nope. It was on air :) Mike
I would stay with 8400. Just run it 9x500 or 8x500 depends how far your can go. Mike
E8400 is best bang for a buck IMO. Stepping E0 SLB9J can do 4GHz easily. Buy better mobo instead of quad core. Mike
Vid of my processor is 1.2375. It runs as you can see on screenshot w/o problems 24/7. 4GHz 1.168V is piece of cake for this little baby. I can...

Top hit: 2224MHz FSB, 5004MHz CPU, Vcore 1.464. Everyday 500x8 2000MHz FSB Vcore 1.12V. CPU lapped, TT Big Typhoon, on air. Mike [img]
Look for P5K Premium. Mine E8400 is doing 5GHz top, 4GHz 24/7 at 1.135V. Best board so far for me. Mike

Set 500x8 mem 1:1. Vcore as needed. Rest I set auto. Working great in my rig even 500x9 as you can see on the left. Mike
Any S-IPS matrix will be great. Don't ever look at TN :) Mike
...and direct download link is...? Mike
I wouldn't go as far as you for 24/7 operation. Mine is doing 4GHz at 1.272V. :) Mike
It's a litle bit to high for 24/7 usage but C0 need high voltage to run fast. Mike
It is normal. Noise is coming from power supply section on you card. Nothing to be worry about. Mike
No problem here with Corsair 520W power supply. No voltage drops or anything with my setup. Mike
Yoy should try to raise DDR voltage. It helepd me. No more lagging. Check SPD and set in bios proper DDR voltage. Not auto, manually. Mike
