    I would stay with 8400. Just run it 9x500 or 8x500 depends how far your can go. Mike

    E8400 vs Q8400

    E8400 is best bang for a buck IMO. Stepping E0 SLB9J can do 4GHz easily. Buy better mobo instead of quad core. Mike

    Whats the best socket 775 budget mobo for overclocking

    Look for P5K Premium. Mine E8400 is doing 5GHz top, 4GHz 24/7 at 1.135V. Best board so far for me. Mike

    Set 500x8 mem 1:1. Vcore as needed. Rest I set auto. Working great in my rig even 500x9 as you can see on the left. Mike

    It is normal. Noise is coming from power supply section on you card. Nothing to be worry about. Mike

    Games get stuck during gameplay

    Yoy should try to raise DDR voltage. It helepd me. No more lagging. Check SPD and set in bios proper DDR voltage. Not auto, manually. Mike
