Its great, i mastered mine (Subtle calamity ) with lvl10forge and wow!
It was great before, but now it even loads faster and more accurate.....
That looks like some driver/windows/dx api/game glitch, imo 1 fps drop for 1ms in 5hours is nothing, I would worry if it were 1 every few minutes.
I would get this with a little better mobo to get near those 1000$ NZ.
Otherwise min i7 9700K @ intel.

Newer nvidia gpus now support freesync monitors, 2080s is the best in between, and not too expensive either.. seen few normal 2080rtx for same or...
I have hammerhead too , its good but prefer the sword most of the time. With it Im all over the place :D

I played geothermal vally yesterday and it ran ok on dx12, inc 2xssaa.
But im using 436.15 driver, maybe try that?

Yeah, but wall shadows are still glitched.. they cutoff quick, actually it's the only flaw or it was back then.
Speaking of RoTR, I'm in geothermal vally dx12 and 2xssaa, rest almost maxed (except shadows high) and no crashes.. 436.15 driver atm.
So for anyone wondering, this is the "fix" I used back then
