Have a similar issue with my 7950 and multiple monitors, if i OC even 1mhz the idle clocks drop to 300/150 resulting in flickering/unstable...
Hence why i said the Memory will not downclock.
If you have multiple screen's then Memory will not downclock, that is by design not a bug.
It's either a coincidence or BETA 6 has killed my 7850, a few hours after installing them i had a BSOD and now when i try to boot any of my PC's...
My 7850 is still stuck at 1200mhz memory at idle.
Can't get these to install on my GTX260 with the modified inf, keeps saying "the system cannot find the file specified"
F1 2010 is no different for me, still 25-30fps with low CPU and GPU usage.
Made no difference for me, still high dpc and low gpu usage.
Im already on Expert mode with Legend AI and still got pole with a 1:56.3 and the win in Bahrain by 11 seconds in my Lotus:3eyes:
Your CPU is fine, i would run the DPC Latency checker tool though and report back what latency your getting http://www.thesycon.de/dpclat/dpclat.exe
There were awful on my 260, 259.57 were far better.
GTX 260 here and with F1 2010 i get 25-30fps on ultra high or ultra low, i also get low GPU and CPU usage and high DPC Latency.
Too add to this, i have put my old 7900GTO in to test and with that the DPC spikes are completely fixed, but GPU usage is still 50-60% and cant...
I have tried 258.96, 259.57 and 260.63 and get the same DPC spikes and low GPU usages with all of them in F1 2010 and ONLY F1 2010.
The game doesn't have DX10, the current release version is DX9 only with DX11 being added in a patch later on.
And yes, it only happens with F1 2010, and with it i get low GPU usage around 60% Max and low FPS 25-30fps on ultra low and ultra...
Same here i have a HDTV connected via component and can no longer adjust it or set a custom resolution with these drivers.
Another problem with these is i can't set custom resolutions for my HDTV anymore.
Surely the award should go to a company who produced drivers that didn't cockup DPC latency in the first place?
