No, it's just a registry fix.
Appears the problem is with the Windows Installer. Read this. Worked for me. I hope it works for you guys, too.
I gave up a long time ago. Been stuck with 182.67 since they came out in June.
I've tried everything.
Just tried that and still no Control Panel.
Uninstalled old driver, restarted in Safe Mode, cleaned with Driver Cleaner without Control Panel filter, restarted, installed from uncompressed...
I always uncompress the files and remove the PhysX driver before installing and I get this no Control Panel BS with every 185 and above version.
I always remove the PhysX drivers from the package before installing...still messes up. I've been trying to figure this out for months.
I always install drivers in normal mode. Still no Control Panel even since the 185 series.
I'm positive the Control Panel won't install, but, as always, I'll try them anyway.
Still no Control Panel. There is a file called NvCplSetupEng.exe, but when I try to install it I get "Setup failed to read the required Display...
I haven't had much luck with the 185.xx series, but I'll try these out anyway. Any Control Panel issues with these for anyone?
182.50 made almost every game I play crash. Hopefully these don't have that same problem.
Still no Control Panel. And it sucks because I think this driver is finally going to solve my issues. Gonna check out the NVIDIA forums to see if...
Cool...maybe these will finally fix my L4D and WiC problems.
Anyone having the Control Panel install issue with these?
Looks like I'm gonna wait to try out this series of drivers. I've been playing a lot of FC2 and don't feel like trying to aim through black squares.
I actually did my own comparison and yes, it is faster. First game ever where DX10 is faster than DX9.
Damn, I just got done testing the 182.47s. I doubt these are gonna fix my World in Conflict crashing, but I'll try them anyway.
He's got a motherboard with Hybrid SLI.
