Alright, thank you. I did try applying the AO flag to all the profiles and .exes and then launching the game from all .exes, nothing worked.
You can always download both mods (Natural & Realistic Lighting and Living_City) and merge them yourselves with the Gibbed.Disrupt repack tools.

The flags for the first Assassin's Creed game don't seem to be working anymore. I've tried 22, 60000 and 60019 with no success.
Try disabling depth of field and motion blur in the graphics settings menu.

This. I think i solved it.
Turns out that the game apparently suffers from "fallout 3 syndrome".
What i mean is that if a mod causes a bug...
Im a great fan of your mod, for me it's one of the best graphical mods ever made for any game.
