i've resurrected my card and working perfectly.. an msi 8800gts OC.. nothing to loose if you want to throw away the card.. be sure that the card...
try booting a single mem.. then if it happends again, reset the bios to defaults then boot again..or update the mobo's bios..
it reflows the shoulders i the mems and the gpu.. almost all parts.. fixes gibberishm hehe and unwanted lines.. it's not recommended to those...
try first the driver thing... ;-) then try to use a single 295 then see the difference..
try the oven trick if there's nothing to loose.. i baked my 8800gts this morning and it's working great.. vertical lines are out;-)
yup so sad.. some worked but some not.. i've read forums about baking cards before i do so..it's by chance.. im happy about what i did this...
