Except for the awesome shared memory features :infinity:
Patiently waiting for next version. Thanks in advance :)
Congrats on version 3 final! Thanks!!!
I've been away for a while. 64-bit support awesome!
Definitely on XP. With newer Windows versions, NVIDIA has stated that 0 wasn't really supported.
Sometimes there was no noticeable difference between 0 and 3 even. It depended on the game, and whether you're CPU/GPU limited, etc.
Twice I saw this driver version attempting to write to read-only memory. Windows didn't appreciate that.
That doesn't solve much for those of us who aren't RPG gamers..
Just cap FPS if you're GPU limited or vsync'd. It helps minimize input lag in...
No newbies, that's for sure...
edit - branch info: r334_00-38
Yeah. The amount of input lag we can tolerate usually varies by game.
That seems like a great idea to me. But instead Nvidia spends several months asking for crash dumps that don't exist.. It's as if nobody from...
It's probable that 1/2 refresh Vsync may "feel" smoother, but with smoothness often comes additional input lag.
On an ideal configuration, the...
I've found that most stuttering I encounter is due to buggy game engine or graphics driver, and rarely due to my configuration.
In my experience, using 1/2 refresh Vsync creates more input lag than capping the framerate in half using RTSS (plus standard Vsync). Additional...
One reason Nvidia can't solve this problem after half a year is that they're still asking for crash dumps for a system freeze issue, lol.
When the version number is equal, so is kernel driver in my experience. ManuelG recommends the GeForce version for GeForce users.
I've had that happen before too. I thought it was just another annoying bug in newer versions of Windows.
Okay thanks but I don't really know what full screen flash player has to do with system/mouse hang, other than hardware acceleration perhaps.
Nice. I forgot to ask, is this the first R325 driver to solve it? Or did you not try the other ones?
If this is the first driver to solve it,...
It sounds like a coincidence to me, but this is why I mentioned trying R325 in the 320.18 topic.
If it wasn't for ManuelG, we are sometimes left wondering for months, when will a new driver come :/
Also try researching the exception codes. Certain exceptions can be due to hardware/memory stability problems.
