@Roboionator pretty sure you should be able to find some 3600 CL 16, if that is too expensive I would go with CL17, but nothing higher than 17 on...
if you get 4 sticks you have better RGB. 2 vs 4 usually 4 is more expensive, the IMC can handle it most of the time, unless you go 4000+.
not sure you can make that ultimate statement on hardware lvl, would imply severe error on testing, too absolute statement.
@waltc3 have you unlocked the FCLK(Infinity Fabric Clock) from the Memory?
Some people said putting it manually to 1800-1900 gives a slight...
Been waiting for my 3900x since paper launch on 7.7, nothing here yet, I'M jelly. :(:(
What's mid range? 300, or below?
A good 300$ one is the Taichi, or Asus Prime, or Gigabyte Pro (I think it was called pro in that price range).
never mind, missunderstanding.
Here in germany the 3800x became available this week.
Still no 3900x, ordered on 7.7, waiting two weeks now for shipping coming monday.
Some people were discussing some whea erros in Win 10.
Last thing I heard you want to run a 18.104.22.168 Agesa bios to prevent errors.
I saw a x570 aorus PRO bios vid, it was there too.
you can unlock it and set a fix clock for it, recommended is 1800-1900 for high speed memory,...
did you setup AB to apply on start up? do they have different bios? Did you chose MSI extended in voltage options?
maybe you should have...
you got a green and black WD each 1TB and a 150GB old bone. Which one gives troubles?
I would ditch the 150GB one either way, and even the 1TB...
Somebody mentioned a buggy gefore driver in another thread. Can you roll back to a previous one?
Do you guys use Ryzen MAster often? I always did Bios with Intel, is there some special stuff unlocked on Ryzen MAster?
Will use x570 Aorus Master.
have you tried some FCLK tweaks? manually setting it to 1800MHz?
In the AMD thread they said they got some performance gains.
can you verify that?
HDD doesn't have to give errors, it can be terrible slow and the programm trying to access it might throw an exception causing an error.
all those advertised clocks are maximum peak single core boost only, all core is way below.
just test it from now on, maybe is was a driver bug.
the speed is supported natively, the timings are a different thing, but most likely 99% will work just fine.
The QVL list is incomplete and they...
yeah the 200- 250$ price bracket for x570 looks decent enough to make a new purchase of a x470 board irrelevant imo.
