How the hell do you guys get such high FPS (60+)? Are you playing on real low resolutions? Mine go on average 15-30. This is on Ultra Quality at 1280x with everything turned on, except V-Sync and AA. I have a P4 3.4, 2GB RAM, GeForce 6800 Ultra.

 

WTF are posting those MP screens? Like pwning n00bs and then showing the scoreboard screens to everyone ? Does it make you feel like you have a big pen0s? Seriously, don't post such screens here, you've opened you own...thread for that kind of...material

 

You must have somein' not setup right in your case. My lesser rig than yours on Ultra in game averages 30-60 fps with Vsync ON|AA 2X|AF 8X|1280X1024.

Do you have your driver cpl set to Application Control?

 

No, I don't have anything application-controlled checked. Should it be? Everything is maxed out in the control panel.

 

he's right, you should have no problem running this game maxxed out! i run in the same res and quality as u and get higher fps......

fastwrites on? apature set right? chipset drivers? latest forcewares? service pack2? etc lol fastwrites made a massive differance to mine! put it to application controlled, on ultra quality it enables 8xaf

Actually I had V-Sync on, so I turn it off and that doubled my FPS. So now i'm geting 40-60 on the same settings, and even with AAx4. However with V-Sync off the tearing is noticable. I'm using 61.77 drivers.

 

Here's how it should look and leave Vsync set to Application Control also. The in Game Panel set to Ultra auto sets AF to 8X. And there you can adjust the AA and turn Vsync ON.

 

Sorry to have sorta hijacked the thread. All fixed now. Reinstalled the drivers, set as Bluedog suggested, and now I'm constantly getting 60 FPS on average! Never below 30, and into the 70s. Very nice, thanks! This is on Ultra Quality, 1280x, V-Sync on, and AAx4.

Railing ? He seems to be higher that the monster. But then again it doesn't look very much like a railing, too flat.

My FPS are that low coz I have V sync on. But its usually 60 fps anyway. Just during some intense stuff its 25-30. Still cant really notice slow down.

Ok, almost doen wtih the game (chamber area 1) and have a ton of screens for showing. But one question.

Should i put it in PNG format for perfect view but slow loading, or jpeg?

 

Meh, just put them as JPEG's.

Also how do I get those little preview screens like other people have?
