pixel shader version?

    thief 3 claims i have a pixel shader version of 1.4 on my 9600xt.

    is this normal, i thought even previous gen cards had 2.0 support?

    Thief 3 doesn't use PS2.0

    Yes it shows up as 1.4, even with the 9800Pro/XT series, maybe its a detection bug or anything above 2.0 is shown as 1.4, so i dont think it should matter.

    I stand by my previous statement. The game does not use PS2.0, therefore it will detect only PS1.4 and below (even my card shows as PS1.4 and not 3.0).

    i have an 9800 pro and it showes 1.4 to man.

    where does it tell you what shader its using?
