i was thinking that aswell. very strange! ill wait and see what happens before i reinstall drivers again. happy with 62.01 but always happy to go with WHQL.

They work good for me so for. The Clock Frequencies glitch with my 5900nu has been corrected with this release.

 

I noticed the "FarCry performance was not where it should be" fix in the release notes... how does FarCry run?

These 61.76 Drivers are VERY GOOD. They fixed alot of bugs I was having with Far Cry. It fixed some water rendering problems and lighting problems are now corrected. Also these 61.76's run just a little bit hotter than the 61.72's by about 4C at idle. Over all Great drivers. Increased my 3d mark score by 400 Points.

These are working great for me so far.

 

Can someone verify this for me? We just ran these new drivers on 3dmark 2001 and got a decent score with a TI4600 card. What concerned me was that the horse part of the benchmark was almost translucent. Normally the horse is solid with only a few missing specks, this time it was the opposite. Is nvidia cheating or is the card dying?

 

Its probably just a driver issue that they didnt know about. If your card was running fine b4 u installed em, then I doubt its on its way out. Noticed any strange behaviour in games?

 

Not yet, but I'm at work and couldn't test it extensively. I have a different Nvidia card at home and will test it a bit further. Thanks.

 

These drivers are broken for me 4XAA only works on a reboot. Corruption in Toca 2 as well, sumin not right. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, drive cleaned all sorts.

 

How many releases will it take to fix this stupid bug! nVidia, its BS fix this crap!
