Just out of curiousity, did you check your Power supply's output yet in windows? Secondly, have you tried the newer drivers like 60 series? Just a couple thoughts. Nitro
Hello NitroMike, about the psu output in windows... I dont know how to check that one using windows... If you have a link for a free software that may check how much my psu produce pls post it up.. About the driver version 60.xx, yes i tried all of it. But still the message is keep on appearing. Only the driver version lower than 52.16 makes this weird message disappear.
I got a question for you, do you have a molex connector on that card? It's a black or white 4 pin connection at the end of the card.
I got that error message when I first installed my 5800... It turned out that I had forgotten to connect the cable from the PSU to the card (or something like that, anyway).
I did checked that already, unfortunately my card did not support molex connector for additional power. I know the ULTRA version of GFX 5600 supports this feature.
i got this prob once....email leadtek, all they told me is to make sure my power supply is big enough....what is the wattage of ur power supply? mine was 350W....had to buy a 500W one. Also how many fans or pheripherals do u have in ur pc....?
