installed the drivers, seems stable so far. Still haven't had time to test through all games intensively

That's odd, when the 53.04s are already the release version for the win9x dets. They should've made them 53.10 or something.

This driver is not UDA. check nv4_disp.inf, i tried to install it in my Geforce 4 Ti4200 128Mb (clean install), and none happens.

Support all FX line and some MX boards.

    Reverting back to 53.04.

I instal it and see the best quality in 2xAA since 41.09 and much faster than 52.16
on my Gf4Ti (nv4_disp.inf from other driver)

Not noticing anything majorly different but 00.01 revision jump is probably why.
Copying an older nv4_disp.inf file into the new drivers will cause a bit of havok with nview and crush [Nforce 2] users as they've decided to rename certain classes and varibles.

I've modified the new nv4_disp.inf to take most cards including TNT's and Ti's while retaining all the original info in the new nv4_disp.inf.

    Feel free to download:
    nv4_disp.rar

The 53.04 driver is for Windows 98 and ME, not for XP.

This is an XP version of the driver... :D

What is "Windows XP Media Center"? Because that's what the driver is for. Not too sure on that one.

If you go to nvidia.com, click Download driver, and go about the normal driver-downloading method (Graphics card, GeForce and TNT2, Windows XP, then click Go) it still displays the 53.03, not 53.04.

I don't know what Windows XP Media Center is, but I'm not installing 53.04 drivers.

I've been using them for a couple of days with no problem. Mostly play MP2, DXIW, and KToR, again with no problem, and I like that there WHQL.

Windows Multimedia Edition is Windows XP with home enterainment features to apparently provide us with living room type PC's that can record TV, play films, ect.
Essentially it has a fullscreen Windows Media style browser that can control all the media type features much like Creative's fullscreen remote menu.

Yes there is 53.04 Windows 9x drivers but these are also 53.04 for 2000/XP/WME.

Nview seems better behaved and these drivers improved performance in games and benchmarks by a small fraction for me. DesertCombat and UT2003 both seem to gain a few FPS extra in busy scenes.
Can't really comment on image quality seeing as I run a LOD of -0.8 so it's always nice. :D
