I actually got the top half off the 200mm fan blocked so it doesnt blow on the exhaust ports on my 6700xt.

so it blows under the card instead.

hafx has better airflow when all the plastic is removed from the fan vents....

Hey got the same card the "junc" never gets higher then 72c and fans are set to just below 50%. Now according to AMD it (junc) can reach 110c haha Now at first man this thing could get loud but over the years you learn a few tricks from 3dfx, ATI, AMD blah blah blah. My 3080 was wow even louder. But after playing around got it so quiet you never heard it under full load.

As others say GOOD AIR flow is the key. And play with the fan curve. Now I didn't need my "max feq" set past 2700 lol so I lowered it a tad

Ok I wanted to add if anyone with xtx is having crashes and black screens with Windows 11... I'd say I would bet its Windows 11. Well I have both Win 11 and Windows 10. Win 11 wow so many problems.. games crash, black screen. Windows 10? No lie not one problem. Can play any game for hours never crash anything. Just something to look into. Then depends if your using the lasted beta version blah blah blah.

I have 2x 140mm in(Front) and 3x 120mm out. 120mm rear and 2 120mm top above the CPU. I get great cooling with my Corsair 5000D Airflow, much better than that horrible front of your case where it can only get fresh clean air from the side slits.

I hate the front of the case you have, it's so dumb. 3 x 120mm fans behind a glass panel.

When I'd read that OP has an XFX MERC310 RX 7900 XTX (or XT, both have the same backplate), I was puzzled as why as I'm getting pretty decent temps on mine. After about 1/2 hour (enough time for system and GPU to heat up) and with ambient temp at about 24C, according to GPUZ, GPU = 57C, Hot Spot = 75C, and CPU = 82.5C.

Not too shabby as aircooling for the XTX goes, plus I have a CM H500M case with 2x 200mm intake fans at the front, and my Tt Big Water 3.0 AIO mounted on top, a pic speaks a thousand words.
