With the new Notepad update, its no longer save the damn position where it was last in. Why is this so hard?
still performance issues with 11 in cod warzone 2, i think win10 is the best windows until they fix 11 's tendency to have inconsistencies with games.
An issue only you are having or talking about, can not find a single other instance of this reported. what have you got hooking the shell?
Pretty sure performance (frame time variance) has deteriorated since Warzone 2 update and not since Win 11.
Not seeing any issue, apart from being something wrong with Ryzens and games that spawn only few threads. Would be interesting who screwed this up, either Microsoft or AMD. But doesn't seem to matter in games that cause >50% load when being fully CPU bound, e.g. SotTR.
Guess I'll do it this time. Has anyone experienced high CPU usage for WMI Provider Host on Windows 11 22H2 after playing games for a while? I was playing (the very badly optimised) Jedi Surviror earlier this afternoon and exited the game and played a bit of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakening to find the WMI Provider Host using 75% of my CPU!!! This fixed itself after a reboot but it seems to be happening a lot but usually it is 15-40% at most. 75% is the highest I have seen this reach. I've ran sfc/ scannow, dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth and dism /online /cleanup-image /analyzecomponentstore and no corruption is reported. I have not experienced any system crashes either. Why is this happening? What causing this service to utilise the CPU so heavily?

What's the take on Windows 11, is it time to upgrade to it? I keep reading and hearing so many mixed views.
Once you configure it to your liking, it can be OK. For one not familiar with it, it can be hugely annoying. It may take patience for a lot of ppl.
Have not experienced anything that would lead me to use Latmon to find out. Plus the huge variables from one system to another, Intel vs AMD or Nvidia or audio drivers, etc would make the question hard to gauge.
