Nah. It would have solve the stutters, but gameplay, story and characters would still be very lacking.
Stutter fix would have prevent a ton of bad press! I felt the fighting was a bit lackluster and final boss wasn't interesting, but beyond that there were good things in this game, hopefully it gets a follow up!
But the stutter issues were only on the PC side. Consoles ran much better, but still the game sold poorly because of gameplay, story and characters were lacking. I doubt this will get a sequel, considering the budget and how poorly it sold.
Dark Souls combat fans are in for a treat again, but in the last game, this required upping the difficulty to the max, which truly made the game more fun to me, though there were some tough parts for sure. I like both Star Wars and the hard combat of Souls games and I found the semi open world's exploring to be quite compelling busy work to do in the last game, so when these all are mixed again with more story and even more open world I suppose, I must say I'm really looking forward to this! Cal hints in the above video that we might meet Luke this time. :O They probably are taking their time to fix the worst stutters and hone some animations. I'm not picky about animations, but stuttering is clearly visible in the video and quite nasty too, though it doesn't seem to happen in combat which is most important.
DSouls like, not really, as a DS veteran, this game is not that hard, even on the highest difficulty, and has nothing in common, gameplay or otherwise with any FromSoftware DS style games. You got no real sense of accomplishment in the first one. Still a great „light“ game, I 100% completed the game, then forgot about it
Yeah really don’t like that at all, could not remember how the first one was, but I think it was ok for the most part. Still, game looks very last gen in every aspect, hopefully the story will be worth it.
Yeah seems to be the norm nowadays, almost all PC games are basically a port of the console counterpart.
Onna, you gotta check threads!! Already posted.... technically it is IGN's website, but still... same video. xD
