    That New HAMR tech looks to be Mighty impressive stuff. With a laser heating up the disc surface to just the right temperature so the magnetic heads can write on it..

    I think his point is that recovery time from a backup would be very slow. Better hope you do incremental backups because it would take the better part of a whole day to fill this drive.
