AMD PCI Express (3GIO) Filter and PCI Bus Driver requires manually updating.

I changed from rx 580 to rx 6600, now the drivers from radeon do not install this pci bus driver for me, I have a msi b350 board from pci e 3.0 and the card is under 4.0 xd

"Pci Bus" driver only seems to auto-install for me if Above 4G Decode + rBAR are enabled. If Above 4G Decode is left at default Disabled, Windows calls the device "PCI Express Root Complex" and it never gets automatically updated by AMD graphics drivers.

If I enable 4G Decode + rBAR, reboot to get "Pci Bus", and then turn 4G Decode off, the "Pci Bus" driver stays installed.

This is with a PRIME-X470 PRO motherboard (6042), RX 6600 XT, 22.5.1 and 22.5.2 drivers, and Windows 10.

Tried to update from 21.50 to the 22.20.0.0001 but after a restart it reverts back to 21.50 was installing via safe boot and with secure boot off, Im on windows 10

 

On what driver you are now, its designed for newest ones.

 

Ah OK gpu driver I'm on the 22.5.1 because of vr issues with any of the newer ones

Ok, im on 22.11.1 drivers and version of PCI BUS 22.20, when im updating to 22.40 and restarting my pc it automatically jumps to 22.20, what im doing wrong?

 

works for me but i had to manually install it from device manager (let it find the drivers by pointing to a folder)

 

It installs fine but jumps back to 22.20 after reboot

 

ok using windows 11 and cant seem to find anything relating directly to pci bus driver no matter where i look in device manager. I must be missing something?
