@remicius Have you tried to uninstall device in Device manager with ticked "delete the driver software for this device" checkbox?
@remicius Go to this registry key "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall" Browse through its subkeys searching for avermedia software subkey. Is there a registry value "UninstallString" there?
i did it and here what i found, but not in the uninstall section View attachment 14117 View attachment 14115 View attachment 14116 View attachment 14117
There is another path to search for: Code: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall You got two paths to search for, one time in HKLM, another one is in HKCU. If it isn't listed in HKLM, there is a good chance to find it in HKCU. EDIT: The cake was a lie. If you have deleted all the keys in registry, how come so much entries show up in your screenshots from .... registry?
use the microsoft provided fixit tool https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d
you were right!i did not delete all the bits from registry,i've checked 3 times now,and there is no more aver keys in the registry and woila:i installed succesfully the driver and enjoying the tv channels on my pc. Many thanks for your effort to solve this dodgy problem
