    Hello

    i've a very annoying problem while i trying to install a driver for my usb TVtuner(avermedia TD310).
    it stopped working,and i decided to reinstall the driver.so i uninstalled from the control panel ,but when i wanted to install it again,the drivers own installler want me to uninstall the driver,despite i did uninstall it from control panel,and it says:1605,this action is only valid for products that are currently installed when uninstalling............
    i completely stuck,and cannot watch tv programs on my pc.
    things i tried so far
    -delete every key from registry editor which belongs to avertv
    -uninstall from the windows settings app list,but it has an error too.1628
    -install it in safe mod
    op system win11

    i hope someone can give me an advice to get over this really silly problem.thank you

    @remicius

    Have you tried to uninstall device in Device manager with ticked "delete the driver software for this device" checkbox?

    @remicius

    Go to this registry key "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall"

    Browse through its subkeys searching for avermedia software subkey. Is there a registry value "UninstallString" there?

    There is another path to search for:

    Code:
    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
    You got two paths to search for, one time in HKLM, another one is in HKCU. If it isn't listed in HKLM, there is a good chance to find it in HKCU. ;)

    EDIT:
    The cake was a lie. :p
    If you have deleted all the keys in registry, how come so much entries show up in your screenshots from .... registry? :D
