  1. I get GPU stats shown with MSI Afterburner + RTSS.
According to the flags for rBAR (0x000F00BA, 0x000F00BB, 0x000F00FF), there's only 22 games that have it turned on by-default:

    Battlefield V
    Assassin's Creed Valhalla
    Metro: Exodus
    Hitman 2
    Hitman 3
    F1 2020 - DX12
    Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition
    Godfall
    Watch Dogs: Legion
    Borderlands 3
    Control
    Forza Horizon 4
    Forza Horizon 5
    Deathloop
    Gears of War 5
    Red Dead Redemption 2
    Cyberpunk 2077
    Death Stranding
    The Riftbreaker
    Halo Infinite
    DiRT 5
    Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition

I set my my P.cie to gen4 in the bios after mounting the RTX 3060 OC never had an issue and Max Performance is Recommended .
Also the 2 Nvme m2 slots is set to Gen4, they are both, a Samsung Nvme m2 980 Pro 2TB. hope to clear things up for You.....

That’s what I did as well, set it to gen4 with my RTX3060 but I’m getting idle TDR with newer drivers only.

I now swapped my RTX3060 with my GTX1650S and there’s no issues on either PC, however as they are H410 and H510, they both now run gen3 …

Setting Max Perf also fixes it, but it’s using 25 watts more when idling.

It’s interesting that only new drivers are affected and only on the H510 chipset!

new drivers improve the performance even on old gpu like maxwell 1.0 but I had to reduce boost by one step and increase voltage because I was no longer stable.

I have no idle TDR or other issues with this drivers and (Mobo Asus X570 Tuf , Cpu Ryzen 9, 32 GB Corsair 3600 Mhz) ,that's Unfortunately with the H510 chipset.....

Yeah that's correct Max Performance eats more power , My Psu is an Corsair 1000 Watt so 25Watts more is not a problem :)

True, I’m not worried about the extra power consumption although I do have my PC on 24/7, but it also raises the temperature of the card by 10 degrees I think, still below the threshold so the fan doesn’t kick in …

i just would like to solve the mystery with the H510 and RTX3060, it bugs me :)

It’s also the revised version of 3060, I guess with LHR if it matters.

My card is a Inno3D GeForce RTX 3060 OC Twin X2 LHR also 12G

Yes it should bugs me too if I had the same problem.

You can use MSI Afterburner to set the idle fan speed a bit higher, with or without OC......for 24/7

Reverting to 517.48 fixes the problems with 522.25, but then I lose the noticeable performance improvements of 522.25. I'm sticking with 522.25 for now.

So why wasn't there a hot fix driver? Plenty of people have no desire to use GFE including myself.

Because they can fix it with a GFE update, and they pushed it, simple.

There's an official option in the driver installer to not opt to install GFE so they should provide an update to those users as well and not via GFE.

From post on previous page, GeForce Experience is not required for the profile updates.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/y4jett/fix_for_cyberpunk_2077_map_issue_with_52225/isew3gq/

Nvidia profile [updates] are pushed/updated automatically (see note) i.e. when the PC is rebooted [OR] NVDisplayContainer is restarted [OR] via GeForce Experience [OR] on a scheduled task.

NOTE: assumes Firewall not set to block Nvidia network access

A manual method of updating profiles is also available.

Well my idle TDR issue is still there even with 522.29 which appears to be MSI OEM only.

I’m talking to their support right now, and so far nothing much has helped, this looks like an incompatibility between the RTX3060 LHR and the Intel H510 chipset possibly.

I would like to get NVIDIA involved, I submitted a ticket 221002-000232 and they were going to move it to higher support or driver development but haven’t heard anything.

ManuelG if you’re reading this please check into it,- it seems you’re my last hope :)

The reason I think the issue has nothing to do with silicone is a) card has no issues on an H410 motherboard b) my H510 motherboard has no issues with a GTX card c) 472.xx drivers did NOT have this issue d) max power mode always fixes it.

I’ve written a little batch file that shuts of and then re-enables the monitor every 60 seconds, and I can get a TDR within 2 hours or less with it:
    sermak.ca/monitor.txt (rename to .bat)

The question is, what new capabilities were added between the 472.xx driver and 496.xx that would affect the RTX card on the H510 system keeping in mind it’s a PCIE Gen4 capable unlike the H410.

    Thank you!

After I have upgraded for this version, my all games (Spiderman remastered, Horizon Zero Dawn etc.) dropped down for around 30fps on my 3080ti, very odd ... after I have downgraded back for 517, all good again.

Edit: After I have upgraded again (via geforce experience), all fixed and running again and maybe even better

I don't see anything strange in GPUZ sensor logs just before the TDR happens ... voltage looks fine.
