Assuming the statement above is true and not some type of spamming, Elon has a lot more money to spare even if Twitter instantly goes belly up. Nothing will happen to his billionaire status.

Not at all but a link to the source would have solved the issue right off the bat especially as the only thing I could find was an article saying that Musk was now going to buy Twitter for the originally agreed price rather than an out and out he HAS bought Twitter. Was that what you meant, that he has confirmed he will buy it for the original price?
