That single core score is brutal. If cache is good , 13th gen might be gaming monster.

Seems faker than my smile on company parties.

  4. Reworked prefetch, bigger cache, higher clocks, 2x e-cores and possibly using 7200MHz DDR5 ... seems about right. The only issue here is the manufacturing node and power consumption.

If they'll manage to keep price similar to 12th gen, it will be clear perf/price winner. Especially the 13700KF.

Even the regular 13900K hasn't been released yet in the rest of the world, but 13900KS is already in people's hands in China. You can tell China is Intel's most important single market.

And Intel own slides show 0 to 20% improvement in games, this benchmark is 25% single core... seems to me this is fake...

This CPU was not included on their slides. Also benchmarks and games are not the same thing.

CPU z favours intel anyway so not really relevant

Memory performance is VERY important this round.
I got 35% higher min fps in Battlefield going from 4800mhz XMP to 7000c30 tweaked. This with the same cpu speed on 12900k. Now with A-die Hynix we are talking 7600mhz+ :D

The Intel numbers from there slides are already with faster memory on the 13900k (5600 mem) then on the 12900k (4800), so some of the performance difference advertised is already due to 800mhz difference on mem speed.
So comparing a 12900k with 7000 mem vs a 13900k with 7600mem would actually show less of a performance gain then the official Intel slides.
As far as I know you test at 1080p right? so 35% is going to be 5% or so, at 1440p if the GPU is fast enough.

It has always been important, its about latency and getting to 40-45ns

Made me chuckle as I sit here with my undervolted 12900k limited to 125W PL1/2 thinking this 13900ks looks intresting. Must resist, MUST RESIST!

Why are you guys still commenting on a photoshopped fake link?
The people in the Chinese circles have been laughing about this meme ever since it came out. Yet people are still gullible enough to believe it's real...

Yep, only test where "old" Intel is ahead of 7000 AMD is CPU-z! Why there is no other benchmarks than CPU-z from the first talking about 13th gen???

I'm under NDA, so can't say anything about z790 and 13900k performance yet :)

    Patient my friend :D

Ps: asus Hero and 7950x arrived today. Fun weekend ahead

Intel in 2025 will go to 15nm processes for old time's sake ! can't wait to see it !

I'm thankful review sites and channels exist. Happily await some official benchmarks.
