If its not downclocking when using that profile, its correct behaviour.

I'm having the same issue in quake live with a 3080. My gpu clock speeds won't get out of idle mode at 1440p no matter what power setting I have on in nvidia control panel.

use evga precision and toogle the "boost clock lock" function.

You'll get full clocks even on windows.

    Hello.
I heard about that issue with multi displays and high gpu power draw bcoz of it, but never had a chance to research it since I havent moved on from a single display setup, so thanks for the info on that software! And my question is if you're still using it atm?

On my 3060ti I noticed for a while it showed "custom" for power management. I never set global to HP, only per app.
I reset to normal now and it is staying normal, but before it was custom for some reason.

Honestly for a gaming rig have it on "normal" globally and "maximum performance" per game.

Its wierd tho some ppl not seeing full clocks when enabling max performance globally?Usually if I enabled max performance globally on my 3080 it would constantly be at 1785mhz while in games it boosts to 1900+(I guess 1900+ is boost clock?)
