I'm getting bad stuttering caused by huge frame drops (Where I used to get 100-120 solid with 516.94 at 4k maxed out settings in all games I've tried, it drops to 40ish FPS for a split second with these 517.40 ones). Even things like Task Manager, Explorer or internet browsers seem to perform badly with these. Also I got a huge rainbow colored Diamond where my character was supposed to be rendered in SWTOR. Reverting to 516.94 has fixed the performance and glitches, so it looks like the 517.40 drivers are a dud at least on my system (Windows 11 22H2). Has anybody else experienced this?
1. I can get it by NVidia change Grd driver to all or Studio, so you can get it by the maker since yesterday. 2. i'm not interested to use this driver. But thanks anyway
The Microsoft Flight Simulator update notes from yesterday's patch mention some memory allocation fix for the beta DX12 mode that will only be available with the next NVIDIA driver release. I see that this game is mentioned in this driver's release notes but it is not clear if this the same thing or not as it refers to image corruption? So does this driver have the fix that the game's patch notes mention or not? Anyone know? I expect that there will be a proper Game Ready Driver released shortly with either the same version so I guess it must be...?
I think Nvidia does not longer support beta version of Games including CoD M2W beta, so it looks imo. I can't say if this nVidia driver have a fix for MF Sim, a lot off ppl like to play MF Sim, but not for me. Studio drivers perform most times very well on Ampere Gpu's.
If you have an Ampere Gpu, most of the time it runs very well. i have tried that in the past, but not for now.
This is a replacement D3D12 memory allocator that improves the engines ability to invalidate and discard old data, allowing better utilisation of video memory and reducing long session cases of the rainbow glitches issue. Until the next driver, it uses the old allocator. FH5 needs to make such a change too.
