Did Nvidia DSR stop working for anyone else after installing 22H2?

 

I got this error, any fix?

Edit: I tried to disable bitlocker for 2 boots but same thing, it won't install..

 

Do you have a system reserve partition with 500Mb?

 

Update popped up on my main gaming PC last night, installed fine but the Razer software installer popped up during the install when it hit 25%, I was able to ALT TAB out of it back to the progress screen. It was still there when the update finished and I logged in at which point I cancelled the install.

Haven't had any time to play with it but the first thing I disliked was that notifications are silenced the for the first hour after a feature update for some bizarre reason, I had to turn that off.

Only reason I bit the bullet so quick was for the auto-HDR etc. which is now available in windowed mode. I like that picture folders now again show a preview but HEIC files are still slow to render, this needs work.

I also dislike that the update process is a full one (effectively like a re-install of Windows) such as when I updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I thought they were done with this as the last full update for Windows 10 was 20H2.

 

Only way around that error I found in the preview version was to format. It doesn't like something that's installed currently.

 

I was rather concerned at first as it wasn't showing up in Windows Update, even though I have all the system specs and I'm using Windows 11 already. However I went to this link https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11 , used the Windows 11 Installation Assistant and it updated everything and now I'm on Windows 11 Pro 22H2!

All I need to do is reinstall the Windows insider 525.26 Nvidia drivers which are very good for frame rates, as Windows 11 re-installed the old drivers over the top

 

Installed W11, but something feels off in terms of smoothness.

Cleaned installed W10 22H2 and all good now.

 

Finally, I decide left Windows Insider Beta Channel build to clean installed and now I can confirm the Windows 11 22H2 Final build is 22621.521
This is straight installed from ISO but during installation I choose option to let it auto check update.



Finally no more wording "Preview" at Microsoft Store.

 

I did a clean install of 22H2 earlier today and it seems decent. I still have to try out other games and settings with VR, but a quick test of Beat Saber with Oculus was fine.

 

I left insider program and (clean) installed the release version. Now, auto hdr stopped working in Dying Light 2.

Not getting Windows 11 22H2 update on Windows update. Is this a staggered release? Do you recommend I wait and see or use an iso or windows insider preview build?

I see, well I made USB installation media and now it updated without a problem, I still kept my programs/perosnal files etc,

All is good now

Imo this is the Windows11 and how it should be/look by default, took them a bit..

- it fixed defender bug with counter timers


it stays at 0x000 "not used" all the time now.

- new tiny changes to notification area are better, also volume slider bellow in the middle looks much nicer

-taskmanger is also very sleek now

-new icons are also good

-smoothness is the same, I'm using 517.22 driver, is the best for me so far..

-no compatibility issues with anything yet
