Hello check the problem on 22621 with timer resolution goes to 1000ms and without timer resolution goes to 1500ms on RTM official 22000 and older w10 versions is correct without timer resolution 1000ms and with 500ms check the photo guys
@PanosXidis DPC Latency Checker is not compatible with Windows 10 (and 11), if I remember correct. Why are you bothered with timer resolution?
IM thinking because W11 22000build and older w10 if you dont use timer resolution DPC latency checker goes to 1000ms correct result and if you use timer resolution force 0.500 DPC latency checker goes to 500ms correct result!!!NOW on 22621++ why bug????if you open DPC latency checker on 22621 without timer goes to 1500ms bug result and if you use timer resolution forces 0.500ms DPC latency checker goes to 1000ms bug result!!why happen this?
1. DPC Latency Checker does not show timer resolution. 2. The Y axis there is in microseconds, not in milliseconds. 3. DPC latency Checker is discontinued. It was relevant for Windows 7, Vista.
Why do you think DPC Latency Checker is for input lag? Do you see the text in DPC Latency Checker about real-time streaming of audio and/or video? And again - it is incompatible with Win10/Win11.
Offcouse no!!! but im thinking why working same all versions w10 and w11 only 22000!!!22621 after not work the same
It does not mean that it is a bug, and it does not mean you will notice any glitches caused by that change.
on windows 11 22h2, Aida64 window is periodically opened by the plugin included with MSIAB, could be related. the plugin thinks aida64 is closed for some reason so it tries to reopen aida64 again, but since aida is already open it just opens the main window instead.
IPC pipelines do utilize system timers and are affected by the timer resolution. https://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~adityav/Evaluation_of_Inter_Process_Communication_Mechanisms.pdf
Why do you think inter process communication is used by plugin? And if used then between which processes - AfterBurner and AIDA? You should write science fiction with that imagination of yours. Did you even read the study? - they used timers in their evaluation, and there is no system timer among them.
