considering you're listing a 1080 in your profile (just like me), I presume you have no money to be taken (just like me)

100% total hard pass on this complete ripoff, don't care how fast they are.

I could be wrong but think Ada has specialized HW for dlss 3 performance gains.

    90tf vs 40tf fp32 wasn't an ai-accelerated increase,just plain horsepower.

My fear too. AMD GPU division needs the RnD money too.

In what scenario? Is that at the same settings? Is that using DLSS 3.0? Is that at what power draw as they mentioned 450W+ power draws...... It all seems extremely vague for the gaming side which they quickly skimmed over and spent 90% of the time on A.I and the server/cloud space. Their stock prices right now are going nuts and its because of the latter.

RT is a game-changer for illumination. Having played MW for a year without it, and then suddenly having it, it's a huge difference. Everything just looks more accurate. It's not at all a gimmick like so many people stubbornly want to believe.

All AMD has to do is just simply have a lower price for the same level of performance. This implies their prices are also bound to go up.

But, maybe this will be like the RTX 2000 series, where it just wasn't selling well because prices were too high, so they eventually lowered the price. I'm sure both Nvidia and AMD are still anticipating the mining market to recover a bit.

Gents now it all makes sense about EVGA news.

Who is going to buy a graphic card at $1600 let alone an AIB one at $1800 MINIMUM.

In EU the whole market is done as the prices will be over $2000 due to (20-24%) VAT, exchange rate and import taxes.
What saved the Eurozone market with the VAT was the exchange rate between EUR to USD which is gone now.

There are no profit margins for the AIBs if they want to compete with NVIDIA own cards.

I'll of course wait to see some benchmarks, but jeeze, the 4090 seems like it would be overkill for my 4K @ 120Hz screen. $/frame is much better than the 3080 though, which is great.

And I bet that European prices will be even higher.
I bet we will see 4080s 16Gb at 1500 euros. Maybe more.

Exactly, is it 2x without any of their AI or DLSS 3.0...

So if my 3090ti gets 150fps in Warzone I want 300fps in Warzone at 4k. If I can get 300 fps in WZ $1600 is a great price for a 4090 for me.

yeah sorry I get 150 fps with DLSS 2.0 Quality at 4k. So I want 300 fps with DLSS 2.0, Just to see if the "raw power is true"
