I've seen on another forum that disabling SMT/HT can gain a nice boost in performance.

Whats that? RT Off? Crank every setting to max and post a video showing the frametime doing swings in town and then we'll talk.

All settings max, including RT Very High combined with DLAA.

Whatever boy, a single ss standing still says nothing, there are minor stutters when swinging even with a 12900K as i'm reading. So, post a video showing otherwise.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered PC Performance Analysis

DSOG noticed the same stutters with a 9900K.

Maybe there will be in a cpu limited scenario - but anyone with just a tiny bit of wit uses an fps limiter.

And cute attempt at being condescending.

No attempt of anything, just wanna know if a better CPU gets rid of the minor stutters or not. RT On(Very High) makes every scene CPU-limited even with a 12900K. Battaglia didn't show max settings footage, only his ''optimized'' settings.

Depends on your res... if you are playing at 4k, then no, any somewhat decent cpu will suffice. Im entirely gpu limited.

If you are playing at a lower res, be smart and use an fps limiter slightly below what your cpu can handle...

And btw, RT very high increases gpu load over high - not cpu load. Object range is what makes a difference for cpu load with RT.

4k with completely maxed out settings and no dlss

RT very high tanks gpu performance at 4k for close to no visual difference, and obviously not cpu limited...

With the settings im actually using, it is 100% smooth at all times.

That is using RT high with 10 object range.

Gotta say though, the raytraced reflections at night with wet pavement looks tons better in this game than in cyberpunk

Yeah, just tried 4K and there are no stutters. What settings are you using ?

Fellas I hardly have any damaging hiccups that everyone keeps saying. I always play with max settings with no compromises at 4k. Sometimes I will use DSR in some games like God Of War to get a higher resolution and a prettier picture. HDR is a must for me. Even on Windows Lol!

With Spiderman there are occasional hiccups even with a 12900k or 5950x. The videos are all over youtube but they are not gamebreakers. I personally have seen my game run smoother with my overclock off. It depends on the title. With Spiderman I was more likely throttling due to high temps with the overclock.

10 cores and 20 threads are very nice with this title. It's not perfect. No processor is currently. The 5900x, 5950x and 12900k are better performers but even they can experience a few drops @4k. It has been shown.

Whoever said 10th or 11th gen is trash with Spiderman probably has it paired with crap parts. I'll post pics.

Why not very high rt reflections? You still have some gpu power to spare.

Your image quality is always lethal! I picked up some tidbits off of you in the God Of War thread. I find myself using DSR alot more.

I was watching @XenthorX play on his channel. He is playing with insane image quality also and his framerate is awesome!

The screenshots I always save are huge. Do you guys save them as lower resolution pics to post on the forums?

Look at the screenshot further up for the answer to that :p very high rt resolution TANKS gpu performance at 4k

My 4k screenshots are about 8 mb, and my 8k screenshots are about 32 mb... but imgur compresses them a fair bit, so the 4k shots are just 2mb when i post them here.
