Finally beat the game after 150h. Was taking my time and loved it. Started NG+ to tie up some loose ends, getting all achievements and some forgotten items. Frustrating at times, but I hadn't this much fun in years. First Soulsbourne experience as well. My wife is a huge Soulsbourne addict and has played all FromSoft's games before. She's on NG+ 5 already. Finished it on series X. Maybe I will try Demon's Souls on the PS5 next. Or perhaps Sekiro?
Play Demon's, you'll find lots of references to it in ER. Sekiro is unlike Souls and ER or BB, it's more an action game than RPG. It has similarities but combat and progression are different.
You can add it safely in offline mode with item-tables, theres more than one method how you can do that. For instance this: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/48 I had to add an item, too shortly after the game was released because there was a rare bug where sometimes you didnt get the "reward" upon defeating a certain enemy.
Does anyone know if Poison damage-over-time scales with arcane or only buildup? Meaning poison infused weapon. I'm experimenting with swapping the blood infusion to poison on the other uchigatana. Ofc as uchi does bleed naturally it still has bleed buildup too, just way lower. However the difference seems to be about 1 hit for first trigger, only (versus 2 blood infused uchis, at +17 and +19 and with 38 arcane).
Hehe no, it was an item from an invader/phantom enemy which i needed for the NPC quest to get to the next step/s.
Skyrim was great, masterpiece!!! The point is that there is no hand holding, dumbing down, and the rest of crap western games are filled with.
Guy seems to be finding thing to fit his argument. He says about AC being hand holdy, but doesn't mention that you can have an immersive option. With no map markers or quest icons so you have to take info from dialogue to find things. Lots of games do this. It's as assistive as you make it. People just wanna make drama from anything.
Yeah right and Skyrim is a masterpiece LOL. Not even with 750+ mods installed. I spent 2000 hours in Skyrim(SE) and i still love it but you cannot call any Bethesda game a masterpiece Elden Ring is a good game but not FromSoftware's best in my opinion. Bluepoint did a better job with the Demon's Souls remake but like i said it's an opinion.
I was joking that Skyrim is a masterpiece! It's also a piece of sh*t! Btw, i'm quite known here as a person who criticize Skyrim. I never played Demon's Souls remake. But i would not compare open world games with linear.
I agree you should not compare open world games and linear games i only do that because they are both FromSoftware games(by origin). Haha okay. But you are the modder behind Skyrim Realistic Overhaul right? Thanks for your work on that by the way.
Well, i like to make things, mods, etc. Although, i don't make mods anymore. The funny thing is that i have made SRO before i actually played Skyrim. And because of this my disappointment was even bigger. Btw, another one:
