Hi guys I’m new here so please go easy on me

I have a Ryzen 5900X with Teamgroup 3600mhz ram, I’ve recently been playing around with the Fclk thing to see how far I can push it, but I’ve got a bit stuck.

The cpu will run a 2033 fclk, but I just can’t get the ram up to 4066, the weird thing is it has booted a few times running that, and running Aida didn’t show up any errors, but as soon as I restart, it doesn’t boot, even running 4000 and 2000 fclk does the same, occasionally will boot, then won’t.

I’m not to sure what I can really do, I’ve loosened the timings but it didn’t really help, so I’m just wondering if there is something that I’m missing.

My motherboard is an Msi x570 tomahawk

    Thankyou

that´s normal, most of ryzens 5000 only works stable with ram in 3800 and fclk 1900mhz, anything above this is bonus/lucky

Still just a rumor, so take it with a big pinch of salt.
But a 5600X3D and a 5900X3D would be something very interesting to have.

hopefully they can slot the 5900X3D into the $550 USD slot else there might not be much of a point in it.

AMD is once again more valuable than Intel

AMD is expected to reveal a strong financial report tomorrow, in contrast to Intel

    What just happened?

AMD has once again surpassed its processor (and soon-to-be GPU) rival Intel in terms of market capitalization. The companies swapped places after Intel revealed a very difficult quarter that saw it lose half a billion dollars.
AMD, meanwhile, will report its second-quarter earnings tomorrow (Tuesday, August 2), when it's expected to confirm strong growth over the three months.

This isn't the first time AMD has passed Intel when it comes to market cap.
That happened in February when team red's $49 billion all-stock takeover of Xilinx boosted its market cap to $197.75 billion, pushing past Intel's $197.24 billion by $51 million.

Those are some big boosts. No wonder power consumption is increasing with Zen4.
    I hope it's worth it.

Although I'd be very curious to see the 10 core piece, since it's actually the one I was aiming to get.
Also, there's a huge price gap between 12 and 8 cores, and I'd be aiming at a 500EUR or less CPU tbh.
Sad to see no official specs yet

AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.7 also available for CROSSHAIR VII HERO with bios version 4901.
Installed it earlier today and so far everything is running smooth. Was a bit surprised by how smooth Apex Legends was.
I play Apex in 1440p on a 144 Hz monitor and it has always been running very smooth, but after installing 4901 I can actually
tell a difference it's smooth² now. Or maybe it's simply because a new season it coming out or the addition of Byfon hyperion anti tampering which currently reduced the number of cheaters significantly.
