    3840x1600 @ 160hz, holy moly. I want it. But it was hard enough pushing 100fps new games with a 6800xt @ 3440x1440 100hz.

When I googled it showed 160hz which I was thought was way too high for an IPS panel. 60hz makes way more sense.

6800xt should easily push 100hz in most games unless your using raytracing or playing Cyberpunk. :D

yup that's less than 4k so 6800xt is fine pushing +60fps

It did depending on the game and settings.
CyberPunk I got about 75fps with the game maxed out with no ray tracing.

And to be honest, if I still had that 3440x1440, I mean I do but its damaged, I would be staying with my 5600x, and just get a 6950xt.
I miss the IQ of the 1440p vs my 32:9 1080p. 100hz is more then enough for gaming. Wether I was playing Battlefield online, Iracing, and playing 5120x2160 60hz downsampling in older single player games was wicked.

And I hate NCP, but if AMD dont add VSR to 32:9 soon I may end up getting a RTX 4080/RTX 3080ti if I dont sell this and get a 5120x1440 one.

I know what you mean. I love my 34' 3440x1440 quality is amazing and my 2080 super is doing very formidable job. DLSS is a magic helps alot. Idk if i would go higher than that as it require alot of gpu grunt. All i want is qd oled of the same size and resolution.

When I first got my 3440x1440 monitor I was on a modded Vega 56 with a Vega 64 LC bios. Boy, 1440P UW punished that card but it still did well enough in most titles. In fact, I ran 2 23nch 1080p monitors with a 29 inch 2560x1080 panel in the middle easier then 1440P UW. Then I got a 5700xt because it was only $389 and got 15% more fps on average. Plus my buddy bought my vega 56 for $150, and I only paid $100 for it.
Now we have FSR, DLSS, and Lossless scaling after I got a better GPU lol.

I have been looking hard at getting a ultrawide 38-43 inch 3840x1600 panel. But they are over priced IMHO. And many of them are only 60-75hz.

It's not, the HP X34 I currently use is 165hz.

Too bad that this monitor is only 60hz though... we need higher resolution ultrawides

We need better contrast panels in general. Most are stuck with 1000:1 which aren't even that much in general use where it comes more to 700:1. Also be nice if they boosted refresh to at least 75 minimum but that's more personal preference.
