AMD Radeon Software - Preview Drivers - DCH/UWP

Is there a way to have 22.6.1 installed on Win 11, but only replace the OpenGL driver parts with the updated ones from UWP?

Just a quick question which one of these preview drivers works best for everyone here, would like to know and test whatever is used by mostly everyone

 

Edit to this: I found out what was the problem, it wasn't uninstalling windows drivers, but in fact it was when I loaded in my custom profile in the amd software, I bumped up in fps massively like 1.5k fps boost in osu, but that's only with my custom profile I created no too long ago. Not sure why I have to load in the profile to get a massive boost, but it works. So if someone is having my issue not noticing a performance increase try making a custom profile and loading it. In case you're wondering what my profile settings were thats it, fan curve is up to you

 

Maybe because you set the minimum frequency higher?
I mean, OSU is not a game that requieres much of the graphics card and normally that makes the card work at 500~1000mhz and not higher.

 

uninstalled *2008 driver , I ran DDU (gpu, no audio driver) , restart, installed latest radeon drivers (checked factory reset)

Uninstall any Visual C ++ you have installed.

Attention download only the first one: Visual Studio C ++ 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 and that's it, no one else.
Do not download from other sites as they add the old ones that conflict.
Clean the drivers again with AMDCleanupUtility or DDU.
Reinstall the desired drivers.

Would like to note that using Minimal Install on 22.6.1 cause Error 1603 on Windows 11 22H2 build .105 or later, Full Install does not cause 1603 in Windows 22H2 build .105 or later.
I report this issue to AMD in their contract email form.

 

Well I have this Error on w11 22h2 .105. The thing is that everything is installed and working properly with 1603 error. (Full Install)

 

Uploaded photo, works perfectly fine with every game i tested , no issues really so far. Just glad OpenGL is working with my card now. Hopefully the new driver comes out though soon, because the only problem i have with installing these drivers for my card, there's no "Relive recording feature" with the CP i am using.

So i use action recorder instead for everything and OBS. Mostly action recorder which has AMD AMF HDR10.

 

I set a Device ID block so the driver can't be changed by anything. When WU tries to update it, it fails, and then the driver update goes away. This is the most consistent manner I've found to stop WU from mangling drivers.

I have notes here about the registry entries, but I imagine there's a more detailed explanation elsewhere.

 

New Radeon Software update: 10.22.20023.0, it adds Radeon Software shortcut in the menu when you press right mouse and bugs fix.

 

Update: FINALLY, it took AMD many years but they fix the damn Vsync issue on their driver.
AMD Radeon driver: 31.0.12001.2008 with Radeon Software: 10.22.20023.0 has proper Vsync in the driver level now in DX9, DX10, DX11 and DX12. WDDM 3.1 driver has been nothing but great things ever since I install it.

 

I am extreme tempted to try that driver again.

How did you install the control panel? From the MS Store?

Also, just in case, can you redump the driver and upload it again? Just in case it had a silent revision.

 

I install it from the Microsoft Store. driver from the first page AMD Radeon Software - UWP - v31.0.12001.2008.7z - Google Drive still works for me.
