Anyone know if there will be any update for nv profile inspector?
We have now nvapi 510 and latest version is based on r460 nvapi? Maybe it is time for some update

 

What? You can se ULL or just Low Latency "On" per game profile in NVCP. Why would you do it globally? That's stupid.

 

Why wouldn't you set it globaly?

 

Pretty safe to say Nvidia Inspector has been abandoned.

I have found a fork of Nvidia Profile Inspector on GITHUB.

Our beloved tool was updated to NVAPI R510 and currently holds number 2.4.5.1.

It is Nvidia Profile Inspector 2.4.5.1 fork but I have slightly cleaned some text in unknown, by editing reference.xml and I have also added option for Tiled Cache to profile inspector in section 8.

Prety safe to say that this can be our new update source of Profile Inspector.

Will low latency mode work properly now?

Older version conflicts with frames to render ahead and everytime i touch frames to render it borks it in nvcpl profile and sets to off.

 

Sorry, but I have no idea. I didn't check much.
Just found it and did little edit and shared this with you guys.
Mostly looks like 2.3.0.13 version but updated NVAPI can give us better compability, with recent drivers.
I know that in unknown section one ASYNC10 option was removed as it is no longer in NVAPI driver settings.
Didn't do in depth checks yet.

BTW. I will do some cleaning in refernce.xml later to correct options discriptions and will post updated one here.

 

I see, well there is a issue with this updated version, it broke profile scrolling, when I try to scroll the whole app closes (soft crash)

 

Report it back to devs at Github.

 

this branch was rejected because the maintainer is using a non msvc ide and screwed up formatting.

 

So the original author is still around, jsut doesn't feel like updating it i guess?

 

Yeah, seams like author is still around. But he is not updating.
For now I will use updated fork, as all seams working, only one thing with the scrolling is broken, but you can use tiny arrow at the bottom. I can live with it. Maybe author of the fork will bug fix it, or better Orbmu2k will update it by himself as he seams a bit pissed off by this fork.

Maybe not, but using never api should bring better compability, I guess.
Also as it is net 4.8 reworked, I think it loads faster and deals with some errors that some users had.

 

I should test that fork sometime.

Lucky you. It stopped working for me after 500-series came out (iirc). Program runs fine but saving settings fails with an api error.
