Ubisoft doesn't make games anymore. They make vehicles for NFTs and MTXs.

    This, and Half-Life Alyx Levitation.

I don't expect anything better this year.

Recurrent Monetization Schemes is the more accurate term.

Nothing. I'm vaguely interested how some early access games pan out, but there isn't any game that I really look forward to. I'm a bit curious about Baldur's Gate 3, Kynseed and Everspace 2, but these are far from ready.

Thus I've built an overpowered "retro" PC for 90's and 2000's era games. I'm pretty pleased so far with playing older games on a 20" Trinitron CRT. Currently playing HoMM3 and Arx Fatalis :D
Some games aren't as good as I remember, but others prove to be real gems still.

With the recent leaks, ARMA Reforger i guess ^^

EDIT: I take my words back, Early Access pos.

The only game I'm waiting for this year would be Two Point Campus. I already played alot of Two Point Hospital and I loved every part of it.

The rest of 2022 is meh, Starfield delayed, The Settlers because Ubisoft, TES6 will be played by my grandchildren, Skyrim must first be released on fitness trackers.

My biggest surprise this year would be Elden Ring. Really having a great time with it. Reinvigorated my love for gaming and the lore in it. The last time I had that was 20 years ago with Morrowind.

All the great games have been delayed or set to release in 2023. Who needs all those beefy gpus when you have nothing to play? :p

this is a good thing if one didn't finish some older games from previous year\years or maybe wish to replay something :)

the problem is, i have my mind set on breakthrough graphics, and older games that i didn t play don t have those graphics that i am looking forward to, so maybe im getting older and getting really picky on singleplayer games , maybe it s what getting older does to u, u get picky on the games u really enjoy or invest urself in, it s a bad thing, but u can t help it, i feel that my brain won t be convinced unless i see new gen graphics of the games which are delayed to 2023..... as of right now, i don t feel like playing anything older tbh

older = more picky most definitely. but also more patient and calculated. i don't play 100% of the games that come out like in my younger years. so picky is actually a good thing in my eyes :)
in regard of the definition of older - i actually meant games from around 2019-2021, so it's not that old in graphics. i can honestly play ME2 and still enjoy the graphics, that's like a decade ago.

I am looking forward to GR Frontline. The 1st person playable view is most welcome. And the Avatar game looks VERY interesting. Nothing out yet about MW 2 2022 sadly. Hopefully soon.

Nothing, not even anything on the radar just now. Starfield gets a slight peak of interest but it's massive, it's Bethesda, it's running on their Gamebyro / Creation Engine so it's going to be broken, janky and look like utter mince and the fact that they seem to have been going out of their way to not show any actual gameplay speaks volumes.

Tell a lie Cuphead's DLC should be out this year and Sweet Transit depending on if it gets a stable and decent open beta this year.

For now I am sticking to ONI once I am bored with that I may finally give No Man's Sky a go but a huge part of me wants to get back in to flight sims so I am thinking about which of the DCS titles to go for.
