Blinking explorer can be fixed by disabling opencl. Also WarThunder doesn't support multi adapter mode like amd advantage laptop such as rx 5500m, it keeps using vega apu even the apps was assigned correctly

 

Yep disabling OpenCL solved blinking explorer. PCIBus 17.50 works on my RIG too. Im still patching the game, im gonna test all version avaiable in Sea of Thieves. For War Thunder stick with Standard Driver with Enduro.

 

if you remove opencl, no game starts tried more than once.

 

How did you install PCI Bus 17.50 MSI GX60 1AC

 

Hi guys I installed the dev 22.10 version (driver and UI) everything works fine with a 5700 XT but I have an issue with AMD Software, my games graphics settings keep resetting on restart, games display and general settings are saved correctly

 

Make sure amd external event services are running

 

What I mean is it seems in tweak menu Queue 8 is suggest for CPU with 4 thread, however you said "by default 8 queue (means it uses 8 threads of cpu)" in #5410 so I'm a little confused...

 

as i mention before:

Go to device manager, find PCIBus could be named differently like PCI Root Complex. Choose driver .inf from V5-Terascale.... \Optional\Drivers\amdkmpfd. Choose any PCI Bus driver you want.

I do not see the process running in the task manager, I have just reinstalled the driver and still the same issue, during the installation if I select the local installation of ccc2_install 22.10 (option 3) nothing happens, I had to install it manually (by launching the exe) the first time, this time I renamed it ccc2_install and I selected the option for 22.5.1, the installation started but the bug remains

Hi, Im done playing DX12 games and due to low ram on my laptop (8gb) I resigned from launching dx9/10/11 games on vulkan and installed latest amd emduro from Terascale DX11 2022.Q2 # HotFix 3.0 to get crossfire DX support. But there is some issue with these drivers, crossfire works well and FPS is very huge, but after a while screen freezes and after a couple of seconds i can hear that the game is working well but display is stuck. Its like game starts to displaying on second virtual display which should be linked to the first one (in adrenalin settings i can see two displays) But in practice it is like game is displaying i dont know where.

TLDR: Screen freezed, but when clicking WSAD and mouse i can hear from the sounds that the game runs well, just displaying the game is broken.

Is there some registry hotfix to this issue? It happens in both DX9 and DX11
(no matter if pci bus driver installed from microsoft or from these drivers)

 

disabling the opencl may fix the issue

and issue is still there. Happens on adrenalin 2020 and 2019.
In the evening ill try wipe everything and go for crimson 2k17 variant. Maybe there crossfire wil work

 

Is this enough to set pre-rendered frames back to 1?

It depends on game. Sometimes these value are found on
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services in key:

• amdkmdag
• amdkmdap
• amdwddmg

Most game are fine with more than 4 if you have fast cpu. 2 are minimal, 1 are single threaded.
I play insurgency on vega paired with 4350g, 8 queue gives better %1 low frames with less stutter, no input lag problem

 

I had the same problem. For me for some reason the explorer kept on freezing constantly after installing the new driver. Removing the driver didnt help. At the end i had to reinstall windows .... Maybe its not drivers fault but idk wtf was going on

 

New modded driver worked here in my RX580, i've tested in AC origins that i consider the worst DX11 game for polaris, and now is VERY SMOOTH. i did 3 runs when testing modded driver cuz i think it loading some kind of shader cache, after a while the game stops stuttering and works just fine.

 

Can i able to use Vulkan with these drivers on a pregcn card? (AMD Radeon hd 7660d)
