Is there any chance to get Metrics Overlay working with Radeon Settings and the latest UWP driver?

 

@Creator if u tested all already, then surely not. I dont use the overlay stuff. Anyways. I prefer the latest win11 drivers. Combined with the GUI. Few posts upper here. All your choice.

 

It is possible to modify the regedit, I have no way

 

How are you fellas getting these UWP drivers? I already installed using @Rambo link, but say for future purposes -- when I had fully uninstalled drivers, windows update never showed anything for me

The windows Developer and Insider joined through the windows option.

Not sure there is changelog

 

Hello guys, is there a version of the driver where the rx 6000 video card works normally in games on directx 11 without aggressively lowering the frequencies.

 

The last UWP driver is good. Finally, I can play Black Mesa with V-Sync without dropping the framerate. Usually, the driver lowers the frequency too much and then I can't keep 75 fps (my monitor frequency).

Yes. And you have to install Radeon Settings application manually because the driver doesn't come with a compatible app. You can use Radeon Settings from the modded driver bungles.

 

Anyone else getting slight random flickers on their monitor with this driver? 30.0.21001.1004

 

Can you show us a video? In a game or desktop? Windows 11?

 

cant do a video now as I switched back to 22.4.2 but it was on W11 all patched up and it was only noticeable on the desktop when hovering the mouse over links or videos in chrome browser. This was more noticeable because I have a second monitor. If I had chrome on either monitor the flicker would happen on the other. May have something to do with freesync as it was more noticeable on my main monitor which has freesync.

it wasn't really that bad just got annoying.

 

I haven't seen such a problem. But I don't use freesync monitor.

 

I just got this driver too after updating to Windows 11's Insider Beta ring, I don't see any flickering but I do see random mouse lag when mousing over links or similar in Chrome.

It force-installed itself so now I have the old Control Panel crying it's not compatible, thanks MS!

Just because 22.5.2 is newer as a date, the UWP driver didn't come until I didn't delete it (Win11 build 25126.1000).
Of course, Radeon Settings are incompatible again with this driver. I installed an old CCC from NimeZ modded drivers:

I used Radeon Settings from the latest NimeZ modded drivers. SBDrv and Audio drivers I got from 22.5.2.

 

Seems like that "Orca" rewrited OpenGL driver mentioned by Vanguard member...
