That's AMD Zero Core aka ULPS which you can turned on in tweaks menu. This make 2nd gpu sleep at 0mhz, it works on MS Hybrid or AMD Enduro Standard

I've running my laptop almost 24 hours since i have lenovo z40-75 which basically AMD Enduro Switchable graphics and there's no temperature differences even with discrete enabled.
The only difference since i use MS Hybrid instead of AMD Enduro are system more responsive and some games perform better.

These are difference:

MS Hybrid Mode Switchable:

• Discrete GPU got newer WDDM support
• Possibility get more Global Graphics Features in radeon settings
• Apps will detect 2nd gpu directly if you assign the gpu profile
• GPU VRAM correctly displayed
• 2nd gpu got DXVA and Video Encoding support
• DirectML and DirectCompute on both gpu can functioning
• DirectAccess to 2nd gpu, Better gpu bound performance based games
• DXDIAG, iGPU as Display GPU, dGPU as Render GPU

AMD Enduro Mode Switchable:

• Discrete GPU WDDM features follow iGPU. For example R5 M230 has WDDM 2.7 capability, but with amd Enduro it only WDDM 2.0 or WDDM 2.1 since they follow iGPU
• Global Graphics Features follow iGPU
• Apps will detect iGPU first even you assign the gpu profile
• GPU VRAM incorrectly displayed in some games
• some apps can't use 2nd gpu as Video Encoding or DXVA
• DirectML or DirectCompute sometimes not working
• Didn't have access directly to 2nd gpu, limiting gpu bound performance based games
• DXDIAG, only iGPU are shown

 

The settings now on the April driver are reset every time after a reboot.

 

sounds like the ms hybrid mode is way better, is there any reason u would use the 2nd method? Or is that basically the backup incase u cant get the first one

The UWP is not installing in the 22.4.1 update 2, I've tried reinstalling and repairing it but it never shows on the context menu or the start.

It's better to use gpu "individually" instead of using dual-graphics. It bottlenecking the cpu performance and doesn't make game more smoother unless you have powerful cpu.
Recently tested laptop dual-graphics / amd enduro feature are worse than hybrid mode:

• X550ZE | A10 7400P + R5 M230 - dual-graphics enabled caused cpu throttled as igpu load too high
• X555DG | A10 8700P + R5 M330 - dual-graphics enabled caused serious gpu load spikes in certain games
• Lenovo Z40 -75 | A10 7300 + R5 M230 - dual-graphics enabled caused screen tearing even with vsync enabled
• X550IU | FX 9830p + RX 460M - amd enduro mode limiting the rx 460m potential

 

In this case think necessary using vulkan and dx12

 

If you talking about dual-graphics on dx12 and vulkan, here Strange Brigade (dx12 and VK), Sniper Elite 4 (dx12), and DOOM (2016), performance is abysmal when compared to single gpu, tested on X550ZE

Actually, it can. It's like switchable on laptop when selecting igpu and high performance gpu. You can install split kernel version of driver, but currently only available for gcn apu and polaris discrete. Maybe later version will added.

I have a big question, is it somehow possible, to extend that 1.15v gpu voltage lock?
Everytime im setting a higher voltage then 1.15v with the More Power Tool the card lock on 500mhz core and 192mhz memory. Is it possible du disable that stupid "secure"?
