Steam copy of the first game on my PC and I'm using the Widescreen fix I linked and a mod called "Max Payne 1, Complete FixPack - 2021 Edition" , you can read about it - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1633394421

I didn't have to use EVERYTHING in that pack/guide. But the upsampled textures where nice and I used the DX8 to DX9 wrapper.

As for MaxPayne 2 needed even less. Just a patch for Widescreen.

There is a startup hang patch/mod. However I didn't need it, started up fine on Win10 for me.

Pirates of the Caribbean ? It was undoubtly very fun, but there wasn't much AC over it. Should honestly just have been a standalone title, but they obviously use the AC name to increase the sales.
