What's strange is, is that there's no indication of any program using so much memory. Is it possible it has something to do with Samsung RAPID mode? Help appreciated. Thanks. EDIT: Found this bit of info - "RAPID mode consumes at most 25% of the installed DRAM, up to a maximum of 1GB."
Turn Off rapid mode and see... PS Also can use this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/rammap
I found out that somehow my BIOS had reset oO XMP was disabled, so I've enabled that. However, the problem still persists - Speed was 2400 MHz, is now 3600 MHz. I'm disabling RAPID mode now, I'll update when rebooted. EDIT: RAPID wasn't the issue. It must be something else.
Alright, I think RamMap has revealed the answer. I'm re-hashing some torrent files on qBittorrent. I didn't know it would use all the memory for that, I just assumed it would use disk only. Oh well, learned something. Thanks for the help guys.
I guess the "error" was the load during re-hashing ... I literally had the image in front of my eyes, but now it's gone .... anyway ... nice weather today, isn't it?
